Since I moved from Switzerland to Hout Bay near Cape Town in 2002, I recieved all the qualifications necessary for being a tourist guide: National Guide for guiding in the whole country, Field Guide for doing wildlife safaris, Mountain Guide for hiking throughout Southern Africa. I do guiding in neighbouring countries as well (Namibia, Botswana ...).

Besides the issues of nature and history I am interested in the politically young society of South Africa which has achieved the overcoming of the lies of racism. My idea of participating actively in building of a great nation contains some work as a Mentor, too.
